Year 4 adding using expanded method

This is the method we use first to make sure we know how a number is made up and the value of each digit. We then move on to standard column addition (the method lots of grown ups use). Watch the video to see how we use the expanded method.

Breaking news...Howard Carter's miraculous find!!!

Firstly we researched Howard Carter and his excavation of King Tut's tomb. Next we wrote a script based on breaking this achievement as a news story.

Finally, we used our green screen to create a news broadcast breaking news to Britain about Howard Carter's find...the tomb of King Tut!

Hi I'm jack and I want to tell you about my favourite football game. My favourite football game is fifa 15 because it has better graphics than all of the other fifa games also there are better players to buy like Messi, Ronaldo, Gareth bale and lots of others. I love playing with the real players at the skill level they are at now.

I'm Ieuan and I sisagree. My  favourite football games is fifa 13. My favourite player is Frank lampard  because he has good skills and he's the one who I always score with. I like fifa 13 more than fifa 15 because Lampard is better on FIFA 13 thanon Fifa 15.

Puppet Edu app review

Recently, we've been working on an app called Puppet Edu. This app allows us to create a video with speech, text and a number of backgrounds of your choice. You're also able to add pictures and music. 

Firstly, you choose photos/backgrounds.  After that click next and add either speech, text or both; click the T on the screen to add text. The raindrop on the screen allows you to change the colour. The zoom feature lets you change how you want the text to appear on the screen. You can also change the font by clicking the different writing in the box. Once you have finished you press save! It's that easy! You can attach this video to a QR code; press copy link and paste the link into a QR code creator. 

That's one way of using Puppet Edu.
